ASPEN HEART ROCK PROJECT 8X8 SERIES

The Aspen Heart Rock Project is inspired by a magical series of discoveries that each feel like a small, divine nod—a "God wink." As I bike up the mountains or walk along the trails through Aspen, I am continuously greeted by heart-shaped rocks. These natural treasures, sculpted by time and the elements, embody a purity that only nature can craft—a symbol of love shaped by the earth itself, and a gentle reminder of a greater connection to the universe.

This project celebrates these serendipitous gifts, each rock a story of wonder and a tangible connection to the divine. The discovery of each heart-shaped rock feels like a personal message, a moment of cosmic alignment where the universe acknowledges my journey.

Through the Aspen Heart Rock Project, I aim to share the enchantment of these divine encounters with others. This series is more than a collection of images or artifacts—it's a narrative of spiritual engagement with the world, an invitation to look closer and appreciate the simple joys that lie in wait along our paths. Here, I document the full story of each heart-shaped rock, inviting viewers to join in the wonder and perhaps see the world a little more tenderly, attuned to the magic and the quiet whispers of the divine underfoot.

Each piece is painted on 300# cold press Fabriano Paper. The art is 8” x 8” and the size framed is 9.25” x 9.25”. The full story about Aspen Heart Rock Project here. A portion of proceeds for this Project benefits Anderson Ranch Arts Center and the American Heart Association.
